Terms & Conditions - Zen Happens

1. About our services

Zen Happens provides complementary wellness sessions (Reiki, Crystal Healing, Sound/Singing Bowls, Weighted/Non-Weighted Tuning Forks, Harmony Fusion, and Grounding Resonance). These services promote relaxation and general wellbeing and are not a substitute for medical care. See our Medical Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

2. Booking & payment

• Bookings are secured via our online system (powered by Square) or by contacting us directly.
• Prices are shown in AUD and may change from time to time.
• Payment is due at the appointment unless pre-paid. We accept cards via Square; we do not store full card details.

3. Cancellations, rescheduling & no-shows

• Please give 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee up to 100% of the session price (at our discretion).
• If we must cancel, you'll be offered a reschedule or a full refund for any pre-payment.

4. Health, safety & suitability

• QHHT sessions require you to reach and maintain a deeply relaxed, hypnotic state. Please let us know about any relevant health or mental health concerns before booking.
• We ask that you do not book if you are living with schizophrenia, dissociative identity disorder (DID), psychosis, or another serious mental health condition without first obtaining clearance from a qualified healthcare professional.
• We may decline a session if we consider it unsafe or unsuitable for you at that time.
• Our space is not wheelchair accessible. You must be able to move to and from a comfortable reclining position independently.
• Please arrive well rested and avoid alcohol or recreational substances for at least 24 hours before your session, as these can interfere with your ability to reach the hypnotic state.

5. Gift cards

• Gift cards are available in any amount and can be used for any in-person service unless stated otherwise.
• Not redeemable for cash. Lost or stolen cards can't be replaced without proof of purchase.
• If prices change, cards retain their dollar value.
• Expiry: one year from purchase unless required otherwise by Australian Consumer Law.

6. Changes & availability

We may update services, pricing, and availability (including session durations) from time to time. The most current details will appear on our website.

7. Refunds

• Pre-paid sessions are refundable if cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice (or if we cancel).
• After a session has been delivered, refunds are not offered for change of mind.
• This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law for faulty services.

8. Results & guarantees

Responses to complementary therapies are individual; we do not guarantee specific results or outcomes.

9. Conduct

We provide a respectful, inclusive space. Any aggressive, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour may result in the session being ended immediately with fees payable.

10. Website use & content

• All website content (text, images, audio, branding) is owned by Zen Happens or used with permission. Please do not copy or redistribute without consent.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy (retention: 3 years, then deleted or de-identified). By booking or using our site, you agree to that policy.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zen Happens is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim connected with a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
