Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our services.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Most people describe hypnosis as feeling deeply relaxed, calm, and inwardly focused. It is often similar to that peaceful feeling between waking and sleep. You are not unconscious or asleep, but simply in a very relaxed state where your awareness can shift inward.

Can everyone be hypnotised?

Most people can be guided into hypnosis if they are willing, open, and able to relax into the process. Hypnosis is a natural state that we move through in everyday life, especially just before falling asleep and just before waking. Everyone experiences it a little differently, but most people are able to enter a suitable level of relaxation for the session.

Will I lose control during hypnosis?

No. You remain aware throughout the process and cannot be made to do anything against your will. QHHT is a gentle, guided experience, and you are always safe and supported.

Will I remember everything that happens?

Most clients remember all or most of their session. Some parts may feel a little dreamlike afterwards, which is one reason why listening back to the recording can be so helpful. Often, people notice extra details or deeper meaning when they hear it again later.

What if I don't see a past life?

That is completely okay. Not everyone experiences the session in the same way. Some people see clear images, while others receive feelings, impressions, emotions, or a strong inner knowing. Others may go to memories in their current lifetime. Even if you do not experience what you would call a past life, the session will still be deeply meaningful and insightful.

Do I need to believe in past lives?

No. You do not need to hold any particular spiritual belief to have a valuable QHHT session. An open mind is far more important than having fixed beliefs about what may or may not happen.

Can QHHT be done online?

QHHT is traditionally designed to be done in person, as this allows the session to unfold in the way it was intended and provides a more supported experience. Sessions are only offered in person at Zen Happens.

How should I prepare for my session?

It is helpful to come with an open mind and a list of questions you would like clarified. Wearing comfortable clothing, staying hydrated, and allowing yourself a calm, unhurried day can also be helpful. Try not to place too much pressure on the session. The more relaxed and open you are, the better. Leave your expectations at the door.

What should I do after my session?

After your session, it is a good idea to take things gently if you can. Drink water, rest, and give yourself some quiet time to reflect. Many people find that insights continue to unfold over the following hours or days. Listening back to your recording can also bring further clarity and understanding.

Is QHHT a medical treatment?

No. QHHT is a complementary spiritual modality and is not a replacement for medical, psychological, or professional healthcare treatment. If you have physical or mental health concerns, it is important to continue working with a qualified healthcare professional.
