Getting Ready

How to Prepare for Your Session

It can be helpful to spend a little time before your session reflecting on what you would like clarity on and what questions you would most like to explore. These may relate to your relationships, life path, emotional patterns, health, work, spiritual connection, or anything else that feels meaningful to you.

Before your appointment, try to come well rested, hydrated, and dressed in comfortable clothing. It can also help to give yourself a calm, unhurried day where possible, so you are able to arrive feeling relaxed and present. Most importantly, come with an open mind and a willingness to allow the experience to unfold naturally. Make sure you have a substantial breakfast before your session, as the hypnosis process can be quite energy intensive.

Your Questions

What Sort of Questions Should I Ask?

The questions you bring to your session are entirely personal to you. There is no perfect list, and you do not need to have everything figured out beforehand. The most helpful questions are usually the ones that feel meaningful, personal, and connected to your life.

Many people come to a session with questions about relationships, health, work, life direction, emotional patterns, spiritual connection, or the deeper meaning behind what they have been experiencing. If something has been weighing on you, repeating in your life, or quietly sitting in the back of your mind for a long time, it may be worth asking about.

You are not limited to one type of question. Some people come with practical life questions, while others ask about healing, purpose, or spiritual understanding. Your questions can be as simple or as deep as you need them to be.

Here are some examples to help you get started:

  • I have had [health issue] for many years. Why? Can it be improved or healed?
  • I am considering a career change. What would be the best next step for me?
  • Should I pursue a new relationship with someone I'm interested in?
  • Why is my relationship with [name] strained, and what would help resolve it?
  • Why have I always felt drawn to [subject / place / interest]?
  • What beliefs or fears are holding me back right now, and where did they begin?
  • What is my life's purpose?
  • Why do I keep repeating the same patterns in my life?
  • What am I here to learn at this stage of my journey?
  • What is the deeper reason behind the challenges I am currently facing?
  • How can I move forward with greater peace and clarity?
  • What is stopping me from trusting myself fully?
  • Why do I feel stuck in this area of my life?
  • What do I need to understand about my relationship with [name]?
  • What do I need to release to move forward?
  • Why do I feel such a strong connection to a certain place, time, or culture?
  • What is the lesson behind this experience in my life?
  • How can I better connect with my intuition?
  • What is the best way for me to support my healing right now?
  • What do I most need to know at this time?

It can be helpful to write your questions down before your session and bring them with you. Try not to overthink them too much. If a question feels important to you, that is usually reason enough to include it.

Before You Arrive

What to Bring

To help you feel comfortable and prepared, please bring:

  • A written list of the questions you would like to ask during your session
  • Wear comfortable clothing so you can relax easily
  • Some snacks will be provided, however, feel free to bring your own snacks or drinks if you have specific dietary requirements. Tea and water are provided during the interview portion of the session, and coffee will be supplied after the hypnosis portion.
  • Anything else that helps you feel calm and at ease

The most important thing to bring is an open mind and a willingness to allow the experience to unfold in the way that is right for you. Leave your expectations at the door and come ready to explore, discover, and connect with your inner wisdom. We will take care of the rest.

After Your Session

Aftercare & Integration

QHHT sessions can continue to unfold in the hours and days afterwards, as new awareness, emotions, or insights may continue to surface. For this reason, gentle aftercare is an important part of the process.

After your session, I encourage you to:

  • Listen back to your recording when you feel ready
  • Drink water and stay hydrated
  • Rest if needed, and allow yourself quiet time to reflect
  • Be gentle with yourself as the experience settles

Many people find that the session continues to make more sense over time, and listening back can often reveal details that were not fully noticed in the moment.
